First person shooters are all the rage these days. No, we’re not talking about the latest Call of Duty game, we’re talking about point-of-view (POV) videos from photographers using a GoPro or Action Camera!

Attaching a GoPro or action camera to your camera is incredibly easy with these two items from Tether Tools:

Rock Solid Articulating Arm with Center Lock – The arm attaches to your hot shoe, and the sturdy elbow design features a locking level control at the pivot. Easy to adjust and maneuver, simply turn the single knob to release all of the articulating joints and adjust to the new desired position or angle.

Rock Solid Tripod Mount for GoPro – The tripod mount attaches to the 1/4”-20 on the end of the arm, and firmly secures to your GoPro or action camera.

In addition to making some really interesting behind-the-scenes videos like the ones below, it’s a great way as a photographer to learn more about your own shooting behavior, especially when you’re under pressure or excited.
