October 30, 2012What is the transfer speed?
Seth
October 31, 2012The TetherFly unit transmits on b/g/n and will connect at the highest speed available. However, Ad-Hoc mode, by specification, has some limitations on speed and the unit will act accordingly. For additional information on Ad-Hoc mode – http://compnetworking.about.com/od/wirelessfaqs/f/adhoclimitation.htm

November 9, 2012TetherFly looks like an amazing product.
After a lot of research and finding many issues with ey-fi cards and the Nikon D800 (it just doesn’t work) I became quite frustrated.
Two questions before I order….
The D800 is USB 3.0 while the TetherFly kit looks like it uses USB 2.0. Will the D800 kit come with the needed 3.0 cable and is it backwards compatible? Also, will the user be able to control the software and send just jpgs over to the device while shooting both RAW and Jpg? I would only need the jpgs on the ipad or mac for the client to see.
Thanks!
Jason

December 23, 2012Currently I am using the eye-fi cards in multiple cameras at the same time, one set to A and the other set to B. Both are sending the images to the same laptop. Will the tetherfly system allow me to use multiple sender from two or more cameras to the same laptop Or do I have to buy two complete sets, one for each camera , and will I be able to have both cameras send their images to the same laptop
