It’s a New Year. What kind of commitments have you made to improve your photography? Maybe you’ve vowed never to precariously balance your expensive Macbook Pro on a card table ever again. Perhaps you made a promise to yourself that you won’t string your tethering cables through your bra strap anymore. Or, maybe you’ve decided to take that techie love affair with your iPad to the professional world and find a way to use it in your photoshoots. Lucky for you, our New Year’s resolution is to help you with all of the above!

We’re helping you step up your game with the Tether Tools Top 20: Start the New Year off Right Facebook campaign. Each week, we’ll post photos of products (ours and others) meant to improve your tethered photography workflow. After you sign up for the contest, all you need to do is share that photo with your friends and, in the comments section, tell them and us how you would use that particular product to improve your current set-up. At the end of the contest, we’ll pick one lucky participant to win all 20 of the featured products. That’s a prize package valued at more than $1,500!

The Tether Tools Top 20: Start the New Year off Right Facebook contest begins Jan. 11, 2012 and ends Feb. 24, 2012. A winner is chosen the week of Feb. 27 based on the quality of his/her answers and the number of times they participated in the contest (maximum one “share” per photo, per person).

Sign up via the sweepstakes form
Watch our Facebook page! We’ll post photos of featured products that you could win 2-3 times per week. All you have to do is share that photo with your friends via the “share” button and tell them (and us!) how you would use it to improve your workflow. (Maximum one “share” per photo, per person.)

Don’t forget to set the post to “public” and tag Tether Tools! This makes sure that we can see it and evens the playing field for contest participants.

I have a home made version of the tether table but it’s rickety and not very professional looking. This setup would help me give the high end appearance to match my work. Not to mention, all of these products are THE BOMB and would really streamline my tethered shooting. In fact, i’d tether more often if I had them!

Ultimate Tethered Photography Workstation: Manfrotto Magic Arm & Super Clamp Kit
