But in that expanding world of applications, it is easy to get lost in the process and download second-rate apps. Here are our thoughts on some popular iPad apps for photographers:

  • Photosmith for Lightroom 3: If you’re looking for a one-stop application where you can upload, edit, organize, and showcase your work, Photosmith for Lightroom 3 is a no-brainer. This app does it all, from non-destructive, state-of-the-art editing, to rating, assigning metadata, filtering, online uploading, and publishing of your images.
